I was working in Nokia Qt SDK 1.0.2 earlier. Today, I downloaded and installed Qt SDK 1.1 RC (after uninstalling 1.0.2). My application which worked fine earlier is now throwing the following error when building to symbian device (works fine when run in emulator)

I am pasting the error part alone....

    Code:
    MMPFILE "\Projects\Symbian\MYAPP\MYAPP_EXE.MMP"
    make[1]: Leaving directory `G:/Projects/Symbian/MYAPP'
      make -r -f "\QtSDK\Symbian\SDKs\Symbian1Qt473\EPOC32\BUILD\Projects\Symbian\MYAPP\GCCE.make" LIBRARY VERBOSE=-s
MAKMAKE ERROR: Cannot extract configuration variables for GCCE
    make[1]: *** [MAKEFILEMYAPP_EXE] Error 1
Any help is much appreciated.. Thanks..

Is this a problem with this app only or this issue is observed with any new application you create.

It was a problem with all new projects.. Due to this problem, I uninstalled the RC pack and went back to my Nokia Qt SDK 1.0.2 which works fine now

Yes both are one the same drive (G:\). And there is no space in any of the folder names.. Now, I went back to Nokia Qt SDK 1.0.2

I see nothing in the original discussion that would relate to your problem. Please avoid attaching to existing threads unless you can really contribute to the discussion. If in doubt, better create a new thread.

As for freeze, and its importance for maintaining the binary compatibility in Symbian DLLs, you can always use the Symbian documentation at http://library.forum.nokia.com. Or simply call "make freeze debug-gcce" on your project and cross your fingers.
