How to use a gesture api?

i was developing java application using netbeans and java s40 sdk. here i need to use the gesture api for my application . can any one give me the sample example or sample programs other than racer program. so it will helpful for me to design the application. i also read the nokia gesture api notes but i can't able to understand clearly if possible can u give the link which shows example with code and notes
