How to start web app

I am a beginner, i want to start series 40 web app. please guide me

I have created a new project and that is running fine in simulator now how can I put this in the device, so i need to make sis file . i have X3-02

for series 40 web apps you need to create .wgt file and that will be created when you click on "deploy web app"

i have created a empty project and deploy , it is created .wgz file in the project folder also when I double click the file is not installing

you must have selected a wrong project template for web app. select File->New->Nokia web app (wgt)->Nokia Series 40 web apps (select one template from here)

actually i have not downloaded the new sdk from your link, i have alrady the sdk , is these the new one, will this create wgt file

Hi I have created a webapps project and tested properly in the web app simulator.
Now the problem is I am having difficulties in deploying it to a handset (using Nokia X3-02).
I have tried both bluetooth launcher (connection successful) and short url (http://goo.gl is generated) but once it opens up ovi browser all I get is errors saying 'page not found'. Hope someone knows the answer

I checked the short url, and it works if this parameter is removed : '&type=webapp1_0'
anyone having the same problem and fixed it?

ok I managed somehow. it turns out that the beta version of my ovi browser causing it.
Another question now, can I use iframe in S40 webapps??

Iframes are not currently supported on S40 web apps.
