Closing widget, not network

Hi,
I published an app last week to show some swiss stamps, from my webpage.
The app is offline until the user search a stamp and it connect automatically when the XMLHttprequest is called.

Once it is connected with the WiFi, the connection never close! I don't have a homescreen widget. It is a simple app-widget.

I can close the app normally, but the connection to my WiFi never close! I have to close it manually, from the phone menu. Is it a bug? What should I do, to terminate the connection?

dude, why would you close the network connection?
there is a way to detect network state -> http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...k_state_in_WRT

Hi Wenz.

I don't want to close the network from my app. My app open a WiFi connection. But when I close my app, this connection never close. If my app open a network connection, the phone should close this connection when I press "exit" on my app, or not?
