Hello
According to http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...fication_codes Symbian^4 uses platform ID 0x20032DE7. Is that ID used for the new Symbian Anna devices or do they also use platform ID 0x20022E6D (Symbian^3)?
Thank's for you help!

I have no idea who placed that UID there and where it was picked from but no, you should not expect it to show-up on Symbian Anna devices.

I've removed the obsolete S^4 UID from that wiki page.
Can we expect another platform UID for Symbian Anna devices?
Can we expect another platform UID for Symbian Belle devices?
Can we expect the product and machine UIDs to remain constant for existing S^3 devices?
Anna is out, so you could check it also by yourself, being a champion would propably mean that you would have the required skills for doing so.
Anna isn't available for my US N8 yet; but you're right, I could check RDA. However I can't answer the other questions.
Edit:
> Can we expect another platform UID for Symbian Anna devices?
Well, no installation warnings from Symbian Anna on Nokia 500 with 0x20022E6D (Symbian^3).
> Can we expect another platform UID for Symbian Belle devices?
Yes, 0x2003A678.

Are there different platform codes available for...
- Nokia Belle Refresh
- Nokia Belle FP1
- Nokia Belle FP2
...or has 0x2003A678 to be used as a kind of general platform identification code for all Nokia Belle platforms (see S60 platform ID's)?
You may want to check it with RDA). A search with Google revealed http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=82270.15 for me. While I do not know what they are doing, one of the posts suggests that 0x2003E28C may be the one for Belle FP2. However there are no other hits for this UID for me (searched for belle 0x2003E28C and 0x2003E28C site:nokia.com).
Ps: on checking with RDA I mean getting the platform-ID .sis files from z:\system\install, and they probably tell the ID-s. And of course you will also see if there is a separate stub for FP1, FP2.
