Problem using QMediaPlayer and QVideoWiget. The player example also doesn't work.

Hello everyone!

I've been trying for a few days to play a video using QMediaPlayer and QVideoWidget. However, I get no image (the widget stays black), but I can hear the sound from the video. I have tried the Mobility / Player example and the same problem occurs. I am using Qt 4.7 with the latest Qt Mobility (QT SDK 1.1) and the applications were tested on a Nokia C05 03. I have read somewhere that adding TCB -ALL to capabilities might solve the problem. However, I do not own yet a developer certificate, so I cannot deploy the application on a device.

This problem has become really frustrating so I would appreciate any help.

P.S. I did not posted any code, because I have considered that it is not the problem, due to the fact that the player example also doesn't work.

probably, you trying to play media with video codec not supported by S^1

Is there a way to fix this? Can I do something to make the application able to play it? I've also tested it on another device.

I think I should have said that I am able to play the video the normal way: Gallery -> Image & Videos etc., so I am sure that the video is supported by the phone.

try to play it via QAbstractVideoSurface
