(nokia web tools 1.5) mwl fucntions are not working on nokia web browser.

I am working on a new project for s40 devices so i started my project using nokia web tool 1.5
in which mwl libraries included. i used some of build in function of mwl like :

mwl.timer('hide', 5000, 1, 'hide()');

its working fine on simulator but not on s40 device(c3).

Also how can i hide softkeys in mwl 1.5 nokia web tools.

Hi,

Could you elaborate more in which context you are using mwl.timer? Is it in onclick handler or perhaps meant to be executed on body onload event?

What comes to softkeys, unfortunately there is now way to hide those.

I tried that code, by calling mwl.timer() on div onclick handler and it seems to work.
So this could be about what is done in hide() or how mwl.timer is initiated, could you share simplified source?

Another option worth of testing could be to test using mwl.hide("#targetNode"); instead of hide() ?

Thanx isalento ... ok i will try your code in s40 web app .
The javascript code is running on server so the page rendering again it causes many problem.
page is post back while javascript function is calling.
I implemented a javascript function for http Requsest it runs fine on symbian device using nokia web tools 1.2
but not running on c3 device (running fine on simulator) using s40 nokia web tools 1.5 (not getting the json response).
I think s40 web tools 1.5 javascripting is not stable yet.
