WDE Generated VERY LARGE _prev.wgt file

Hi guys,

I'm back with another unique problem.
First, let me tell you the whole scenario:

1. I create SVN repository for my code (since there's no built in support for it on WDE).
2. I check out that repo to somewhere else.
3. Backup current source dir
4. Import checked out repo as new project
5. Do 'Preview Web App'
6. I wait loooooong enough, but it's still on

Packaging files from D:/WorkingDirectory/WebSDKWorkspace/projectxxx

7. I lost my patience and look at that dir. To my surprise, I found more that 13GB and counting _prev.wgt.

I don't know what's the problem and if I use clean source (without SVN), I lost all change history (which is the whole point in using SVN!)

You guys have solutions?

I have the same problem with mercurial repository. For solve it, I use 2 folder: one contains WDE-project, then other - mercural repository. I must synchronize two folders manually

Have you tested to exclude .svn folders from the package? (just a wild guess, couldn't reproduce this immediately)

What version of the Web tools are you running and in what environment (OS, language) ? I'll be needing this data for bug report.

It work fine on `exported` source.

My OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
OS Language: En_US

FYI, from 4 or 5 try (I forgot the exact number) I can only generate one normal _prev.gwt.

Sorry I was bit ambiguous wit the excluding from the project.
I meant what happens if you Exclude the .svn folder inside the WDE by right clicking on them and saying exclude from project?

Confirmed. Excluding .svn does solve the problem. Thank you, now I can easily track change history.
