Flash Files are not comming to full screen

HI Guys,

I am trying to learn the flash integration with Nokia S60 and S30.

I have manage to install and run a Demo SWF file on X1. But when it open it has "Play Menu Bar" on the button of the page.

Is there is way to get the flash app run in full screen mode, and hide the flash player controls?
I think there should be a way , Any help , pointer are appreciated.

Which version of Flash Lite are you using?
With Flash Lite 4, the code below works

this.stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;
this.stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT
this.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN

Hi Mariam,
same issue here.
I have a little swf in fl4 reading speed data from gps on N8: and if packaged in widget it's unable to read data.
It works well in flash player, and with your code is OK also in CS5 emulator(full screen and prevent rotation)
But when I package with SWF2go, and run, in portrait it appear only on upper half of screen, if I go to landscape re-appear the Player!
The swf is 360x640, and I need: full screen and no rotate, avoiding to view the player's buttons.

I think you are facing the issue of the Virtual Keyboard showing on top of the content. Include the code below before the fullscreen command to prevent the buttons from covering half the screen.

Dear Mariam,
tried, but.....
"Call to a possibly undefined method fscommand2" error message.
It seems that as3 do not accept any fscommand2.
Please note that the space of virtual keyboard on screen is black: same area of virtual keyboard, but totally black.

You can solve this by using GPS through WRT APIs instead of Flash Lite Location APIs .For me recommended way of distributing Flash Content in Symbian^3 is by embedding it into WRT because Symbian C++ stub for Flash Lite cant lock the screen in Flash Lite 4 (AS 3) content but WRT can and WRT doesnt need any signing . To access WRT functions from Flash Lite you have to use ExternalInterface APIs as demonstrated here:
