Offline Signing for 2000 phones

Hi,

I am developing an application for internal corporate use.

Is it possible to ask for two or more Developer Certificates with 1000 different IMEIs in each one
using single Publisher ID ?

basically the developer certificate is for 1000 devices only, if you would need more, then it sounds like that you would be using the certificate for actual release signing, thus I would recommend using real symbian signed for that purpose.

In older days, the Symbian Signed site told that you could arrange the requirement of covering more than 1000 devices using a single devcert with the manufacturers (like Nokia). If it still says that, you can try contacting symbian.signed@nokia.com, or something similar.
Creating more than one devcerts is something that you can simply try.

If my understanding is correct then a development certificate stays valid even if you request another one later. Thus, if you store your certificates along with the list of imeis you requested them for it should not be a technical problem to certify your software for more than 1000 devices. It will be just a logistical problem.
