I want to buld a own rtsp video player for s60 3rd and 5th edition mobiles.

Hi,
I got two apps in OVI called Mundu TV and SPB TV, I believe both the apps are created using Symbian C++.
These apps play live video streaming. Could anyone guess what streaming protocol they have used and what are the protocol symbian supports?

In aditional to this i got this article http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ot_implemented , does this article play video streaming (rtsp).
I checked this link rtsp://stream.zoovision.com/musicvideos/well_make_a_lover_of_you.3gp was playing in my device default real player. i believe this is streaming but not live, this is a recorded file.

I dont think anyone of it will be distributing its code you have ti code by yourself for it take help of wiki section and examples in it ,to complete your app

I dont think so I have tried it the StartVideo(aUrl) function does'nt call a video player in s60 3rd edition. if yes clarify me please.

1. what is the URL you are trying.
2. make sure to setup the device setting.
3. what is the device you are trying on.

It s an rtsp link and live link not the recorded one please keep the link confidential rtsp://94.75.250.53:80/live205/zoomtv1 .I have tried on E71 which is s60 3rd edition mobile.

pleaes check Device Settings Required section from the article.

I built a RTSP live video player for symbian 3 only audio is audible and no video .I can send u the code for the error correction or modification of the code.

Any one please help me . The codes used are videoengine.cpp, VideoPlayerContainer.cpp extra code used i.e header file videoplayer2.h.

It uses

switch ( aCommand )
