New symbian signed developer certificate and smart installer

Hi,

With the developer certificate issued by the new symbian site, I cannot execute a smart installer package installation on my device. I've got the following error message:
"unable to install. constrained by the certificate"

If I don't package my application in the smart installer, everything works fine.

How can I sign a smart installer package with my new developer certificate?

Edit: this was working fine with my old developer certificate but I had to ad an IMEI...

Can it happen that something went wrong with that adding, and the new certificate does not include the IMEI of the device you have problems with. That constrained by certificate would mean that.

Well, I'm using Qt Creator. So I just check / uncheck the smart installer box...
My understanding of that is that my dev cert does not contain the smartinstaller UID

Your understanding is probably correct.

EDIT: there seems to be a board about the Smart Installer, and it also contains some similar reports: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...er-for-Symbian - in one of them Jukka promises to ask around about it tomorrow.
