I am getting following error while installing my App:

unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier

How to resolve this error from installing my App...

I tried the links previously... but the posts mentioned are very old... Now the www.symbiansigned.com is changed a lot!!!

Main point is:

self-signed installation package or not?

which UID (unprotected or protected)?

which capabilities (some require protected UIDs, which prevents use of self-signing)?

also, check the installation settings on the phone (cert check required or not).

Well,

I am using protected range UIDs like: 0x20048E3F, 0x20048E41 and capabilities like: TARGET.CAPABILITY = All -TCB -AllFiles -DRM.

So for the above any kind of signing is required? I checked in Wiki... the capabilities related to device manufacturer, so may be developer certificate required..

What your views on this?
