Purchasing paid contents where Ovi store payment is not available

Hi,

As far as I know, Ovi term & conditions prohibits publisher to sell paid contents other than through Ovi store channel. What is the recommended way if we want to make our paid contents available to customers in countries where Ovi store payment (operator billing or credit card) is not available?

I dont think Ovi Store will limit you to sell your content outside Ovi Store. But you cannot distribute the content which was Signed by Ovi , out side the store. For this you can use a different Signature to sign it and sell it outside.

Hi Iwanj,

If your application requires signing and is signed by Nokia, you are not allowed to distribute this particular binary to other channels. You will not be able to receive the signed binary file once it is signed by us for further distribution. If you use a third-party signing company however, you may distribute your content however you wish.

For applications that do not require signing, you may also distribute them through other channels as well. The restriction only applies to applications that have been signed by Nokia.
