Problem with popup window?

Hi,
My app shows a pop dialogue to request user entry. the popup dialogue anchors is centerin parent and the problem is that the user can access all the parent items behind that dialogue.
how I can gain all the focus for this popup only and disable access for others?

why dont you keep a trasparent fader behind that, and by fader i mean a transparent view, and your dialog will be above that.
