Card Phone 2.0 with Mac Powerbook 1400 series?

I am trying to get the card phone 2 to work with my PB1400 and it
keeps putting up a message of cannot open card phone 2.0 when
trying to install the nokia software.
Has anyone else been able to get this combination to work? If so
can you offer some advice for a soloution?

I don't have any experience with the card phone. However, regarding
the PB 1400, the PC card slot is only the older 16 bit PCMCIA standard not the current CARDBUS 32 bit standard. As far as I know, there is no way to get around that fact. I suspect that the Nokia card does not support the older standard.
