Nokia X3-02 Remote Device Acces

Hi,

it is posible to make available some Series 40 devices for remote device access for testing series 40 web apps, given that the simulator is not reliable for testing plus it is a very good oportunity for developers like me who doesnt have acces to a Nokia X3-02 for example,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll take this forward to RDA representatives and let you know if it is possible to have Series 40 devices there as well.

Hi,

is there any server where the application can be uploaded to preview it, as when you created with appwizard?, i have one app created with appwizard and it gives and url to download it and install it, i download and test my app using the Nokia SDK 1.0 for Java (wich previously has installed the Nokia Browser), and it works fine. That could really be a solution to series 40 web app testing, without having a real Nokia device that supports that.


UPDATE

Actually i find out that there is a preview server, and the IDE gives a url, but when i access that url it gives me an error, about the web app being corrupted and being unable to install
