Line 2 on a 8850

I have a Nokia 8850, I recently have had a second line added. If I insert my phone sim card in another phone a get an option to select between lines 1 and 2, whereas with an 8850 I cannot do so. I have spoken to nokia and they have confirmed that there should be a line 2. I have spoken to nokia dealers and they have informed me that an 8850 is not programed for a second line, could you please clarify this for me.

The way I know it, european release or versions doesnt have this option, and asiapacific releases have these. Although, you can have it activated using a data cable and a software.
