On the device debugging is easy with Qt creator , than carbide IDE.

On the device debugging with AppTRK

What are the problems you are getting while debugging your app ? Using Qt creator ? Tell us.

    regards,
    rahul

    Hello rahulvala,

Thanks for your reply. I have faced some problems while debugging in QtCreator, QDebug()<<" " messages is not printing, unable to follow the app flow using breakpoints.
From your post , i have tried to install s60_tb_9_2_app_trk_3_2_8.sisx to my Nokia N8 device, but it shows update error. Is there any other location to download TRK ?

    Thanks.

I need to use qDebug("hello") to print the runtime value in my code. the qDebug() is working perfect while running in simulator but not in device (Nokia N8).

That was the bug of Qt Creator 2.3.0, which was included in Qt SDK 1.1.3.

Either install new Qt SDK 1.1.4 Or just download and install Qt Creator 2.3.1

I suggest you to download the latest Qt SDK 1.1.4, In this SDK there is no need to use TRK, just connect and deploy your application.

Get the latest sis files from the installation and install it to your phone, and then test your application in the device.

    regards,
    rahul
