I can't download my homemade midlets from my server, even though I've set the mime-types for .jad & .jar
I run an IIS server and I use a Nokia 3410 phone.
I get the "file format unknown" error message.
any suggestions as to fixing this?
any help would be greatly apreaciated

now I've tried Apache server, but it still won't download
(and I have also set the jad and jar mime-types, just in case you should ask)
I've installed the Wap Gateway Simulator and the 3410 Emulator, but that won't download either...
i'm lost...
Where is your .jad and .jar file?

Where is your .jad and .jar file?
Maybe I can try from my N3410 phone?
Remember there are some limits like size of MIDlet etc.
Try to wap to:
http://wap.midlet.nu
Did you succeed from our site?

I've tried placing the midlets both in a sub-folder and on the server root, but I haven't succeden in either of the cases.
my test-midlet is located at:
http://freakcoders.dk/wap/test.wml
And I did succeed downloading the JustForFun Midlet.
And I have also succedded in downloading from other midlet-portals.
It's peculiar though, because my 3410 emulator won't recocnise the wml of my site, but my real 3410 does...

I don't know what's wrong with the wml file, and I cannot open it using the wapsilon browser either:
http://www.wapsilon.com/
But I think I found one correction needed in the .jad file:
In
MIDlet-Jar-URL:
refere to the whole path where the .jar file is.
E.g.:
MIDlet-Jar-URL: http://www.midlet.no/int/mymidlet/testmidlet.jar
