I will keep people updated once they start shipping. My understanding is that only Lumia 800s will ship this year.

I may be wrong but I think the question was regarding the free device distribution to developers that was announced here: Nokia Lumia Phones for developers targeting Windows Phone

This announcement was done back in November, stating that the elegible developers would soon receiving an email with instructions on how to receive the device. So far no more news.

Yeap. And also : If you are currently a Nokia Developer Champion or a Nokia Launchpad member, you are already eligible, and you will soon receive an e-mail to explain how to get your new Nokia Windows Phone.

Obviously only Launchpad members that where registered before 26th of October (date of the announcement).

But the thing is... Developers should be given the device at the earliest so that till the time device reaches the market in mass quantity people have apps to download install n play with.. In my opinion Nokia is taking too much time to give Devs the handsets..
When is it planned to start shipping these devices??? Anybody has any idea???????

Please can someone clarify if the ship to address should be a street address for courier delivery, or to a post office box?

It is courier, usually DHL (at least in Europe... at least in Hungary, Switzerland and Norway).

I couldn't believe it before this, but apparently Nokia is actually going to send me one as well. Thanks Nokia, Lumia is what I code for this Christmas

Checked My DDP Page And Nokia Lumia 800 was Waiting For Me... Ya Probably its the best Gift For Christmas and Me Too will Finally Test My Application On My New LUMIA 800... Thanks Nokia...

I got E7 in February but the Lumia is not available on my DDP. Does it mean the phone has already been sent to me or should I keep waiting for my DDP update?

The devices appearing on the DDP were a mistake unless you got an e-mail notification about their availability.
