Please advice a way to play audio to uplink voice channel

Hi,

We are developing a recording-machine-like app under Symbian S60 5th edition. We have been facing problem playing audio to the uplink voice channel for a while. Is there someone who can give an advice for that?

There is one possible solution I found is using VoIP extension API. But it requires MultimediaDD capability to deploy it. Does this VoIP API really work on this requirement? We just want to make sure before making a investment.
