Here is a screenshot of a current phone call. After talking for 80 minutes nobody was able to remember who had actually called

It would be nice if the interface would show who was the caller and who was the call receiver.

I'm not having N9, but I would wonder whether it has something similar to Symbian device's logs application. i.e. the app that shows recent calls etc.

According to your Thread title ,you want application which display name of the person and operator company name.

It is possible using TrueCaller application, But this application is not available for N9 because it is new Meego (New platform) device.
