lock screen api

i'd like to implement a on/off toggle switch on top of undimmed lock screen. possibly a slider switch. music player is able to put some of its controls on lock screen, are regular non-deity developers able to as well?

thanks rahul, but i'm aware of the api library. how am i supposed to find this information? searching for "lock" for example produces tens of pages of (perhaps only) irrelevant information. if the API doesn't even exist or is forbidden somehow, how is one supposed to know that? if i dont find the information from search, perhaps api actually exists but its the wrong search.

in short, while im seaching the library, i could still use help from someone who already knows the direct url or info about the specific api.

Currently, there is no documented or supported API to access the lock screen content.
