Hi, I'm new to Qt and Symbian development. So I downloaded the newest Qt SDK, the newest Symbian SDK. Then I tried to create the BatteryStatus sample project. But when I try to open the design tab all I can see is "page not found" and a link to the error. When Iclick on that error Qt shows me this line:

    "import com.nokia.symbian 1.1"
And I don't know what I can do since this is a line that Qt by default writes there.

What I need to do to make a Symbian app to work on Qt?

    Thanks

No need to separately installing Symbian SDK, as Qt SDK contains Symiban libraries. Which template you selected to create project?

I choose " Qt Quick Application"

Even after reinstalling Qt that line still got unrecognized. I just tried to follow the BatteryStatus tutorial that is available at the welcome page of Qt

Make sure that you have installed Qt Quick Symbian 1.1 components. To install it just open directory where you installed SDK and then click SDKMaintenanceTool.exe, after that select symbian component and install it.

Not all Symbian components were installed. But now I got it covered and I still get error on that line. I tried reinstalling....well just to check, the only thing I need to install to use Qt for Symbian is Qt SDK 4.4.7 from this link: http://qt.nokia.com/downloads ? I don't need any other libraries or SDK?

If you have latest Qt SDK, or you have updated your old SDK, no need to install install qt quick component for Symbian separately.

    Read this : http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2011/11/08/...ymbian-update/

So how do I make it works? I still get error on that line and I can't build the project or use the design tab. What else can I try to make this work?

You guys said that only by installing the Qt SDK 4.7.4 is enough, but it is still not working. Later I'll try unnistalling all Nokia SDKs and softwares then installing only Qt 4.7.4 again, if it doesn't work...well I don't know what else to do
