Please,
I'm trying to develop a program to dial and answers calls. I'd like to develop the program in a Linux Plataform. I'd need do know the exactly status of call ringing, hang on, etc. How could I do that? Which API could I use? Which protocol (MBUS/FBUS) ? Does it suport TDMA/CDMA/GSM handsets?

For this kind of development work I would recommend using AT-commands. Check out the AT-command sets for Nokia GSM products from http://www.forum.nokia.com/smsforum/main/1,,1_2_5_3,00.html .

We are also trying to do the same with CDMA phones (series 51xx/61xx) for USA use. Have you gotten any luck with getting info from Nokia or others as to wired dialing via a Pocket PC or Palm or a laptop?. How can I can contact you to discuss what I am doing? My mobile is 65-96381460.
