How do I get caller's name/number

I hope the title says it, but I need to know who is calling. If it is an unknown caller, his/her number then.

This information is not available to 3rd party developers.This is due to the emphasis on the security of user data.

We planned to show some info about callers, before the user answers the call. It is a bit difficult to tell you much more, because that would reveal our idea too early.

What is a third party programmer? Not Nokia?

Without typical phone info all this is just programming some MS office wannabe into a match box size screen. Very useful?

Microsoft will not be able to access this information, it is a security policy.

There is no such API available to get a incoming call number, because Microsoft Windows Phone 7 SDK allows us to developed user experience based application. It does not allows you to access the user-data .

There is one application TrueCaller which tries to find out unknown number. It has it's own searching engine from it's server. (If the number is available in it's server.)
