No APIs/ways to do anything like that in a HTML/JavaScript based (WRT) app (actually, there are probably no directly suitable APIs even if you go to the Symbian C++ level, but you'd have to figure out unsupported/undocumented ways to override/replace system/firmware supplied functionality, too; not something for the casual/inexperienced developer, I suppose).
