Java.io.IOException in J2me application

Hi,
I am develop one application.I am using Nokia N95.
I am using HTTP connection in GET method.Its working fine.
Some times, The following errors occurred.

java.io.IOException: -3
java.io.IOException: -36
java.io.IOException:-5105


I don't know about this error. Why this error occurred? How to I solve this problem?

java.io.IOException: -36

Could you provide more information on the test, more particularly:

-the test environment: which network coverage is available during the test, is it 2G or 3G? How good the network is available during the test, does the network have shade periods etc. when it is not fully available which could explain the errors?
-what the application fetches via HTTP by using GET method?
-do these errors happen with the same source code which you use?
-how often these errors happen? Do they all happen at the same time, or separately?
-do you make one HTTP connection with the GET method, or multiple connections in row?

I am using 2G connection and Http GET method only once.

I get this error in my nokia n95 mobile. But i am running my Emulator means it give ConnectionNotFoundException only.

The Errors occurred separately. But it give java.io.IOException: -xx errors only.

Can you try to perform a GET operation with your code and see if you can get any Response Code from the following URL:

http://www.w3.org

I have just tested it on N95 after setting my Network to GSM (2G) and I managed to get a Response Code 200, which corresponds to HTTP_OK.

On your first post, you mentioned that the connection works fine sometimes. Is this still the case, or do you always get the ConnectionNotFoundException on Emulator and the java.io.IOException on your device?

Can you connect to any web site using the device's native web browser?

I have a same problem when i am running my application on emulator its work fine,but when i run that on Nokia N97 mini it giving java.io.ioexception -1 & java.io.exception -5120 on Nokia E7 for http connection which i making in my app

If it helps, -1 is "unable to find the specified object", and -5120 is "no response from DNS server" (IP v6?).

Can you open the same URL in the device's browser, connecting to the internet by the same mechanism?

Can you open an HttpConnection to somewhere else (like "www.google.com") and get a response (probably a 302 in this case)?
