I can't read sms programming in VB.net

Hi,all.
Excuse me for my no good english.
I have a question:
I tried the AT command AT+CPMS=? & the mobile's response was " CPMS: (),(),()" & I tried the AT command AT+CPMS? & the response was " CPMS: ,,,,,,,,", Does this mean that the mobile does not allow the user to acces the memory location...?
my phone mobile is Nokia Xpress 5800.

All AT-commands do not work with all phone models. Nokia has on this site one, old document about AT-commands supported by Nokia GSM/WCDMA phone models, but it was created some years before the 5800, and has not been updated. My copy is titled "AT Command Set For Nokia GSM And WCDMA Products", and it is from 2005.

It does list the CPMS command, but since the 5800 model was released 3 year after the document was created/updated, it may be that the phone doesn't support it. If it doesn't, then there's not much you can do, and there's not much that Nokia is going to do about it, either.
