Is there a way to access the protocols data transfer statistic - Nokia N8, Anna/Belle

Hi,

I'm new to QtSDK and search for some possibilities to write some apps to easier my personal tasks on my N8-00 (currently with Symbian Anna, in near future with Nokia Belle).

First - I want to access the data transfer statistic accessible via the UI by starting the native protocol application. Within the protocol it is possible to see the total upload/download data transfer.

I would like to access those values within an app to remember them, to work with them.
But I don't find the right way to find information in the API about accessing them.

Has someone here some hints, or information about this values, how to access, which interfaces, classes, modules to be used?!
