    Hi.
I'm making my own theme for my Nokia X2-00. The problem is that I can't edit some icons, such as the "photos" one (see: links below), because they're not listed in the Carbide/Eclipse. Can I do that or do I need another program?

Another question: can I add/remove icons to the main menu? It looks like I can only move them.

basically not all possible applications are included, for those you could try the 3rd party icon thing where you would need to define the UID for the application. Its been awhile when I user Cerbide.ui last time, anyway, if you look around the tool you should find it there.

For UIDs, you could use for example my Y-Tasks (self-signed is enough for this task), with it you can check UIDs for any installed application

Nokia X2-00 is S40, so it looks like Y-Tasks won't work. Or at least that's what Ovi Store says.

Same with third party icons, unfortunately.

Sorry, should have checked the target device better...

I think the problem in this case is that the range of Series 40 handsets is split into different software platforms and those platforms support different icons. Means, if you don't select the correct software platform in Carbide.ui before starting to create a theme, then you won't be able to edit some icons. The latest version of the theming tool for Series 40, Carbide.ui Series 40 Theme Edition 6.0 does the work for you. When starting to create a theme, you can directly select the X2 as your target device and then you should at least be able to edit the photo, mail and games icons, too. As for the other X2-specific icons, I don't know, as I haven't tried that yet.

Crap! I just noticed my Carbide isn't up to date. I just downloaded 6.0 and it works. Thanks!
