Developer Lumia 800 battery problems

Is there any way to get developer Lumia 800 battery problems fixed? Mine just shows a question mark over the battery indicator. If I understood correctly, this is a sign of some hardware problem as the recent firmware update didn't fix it. As there's no warranty in developer devices, is there any way to rectify this albeit getting it fixed on my own cost?
