WRT and Guarana on S60 3rd FP1

Hi All

I am having a problem running any wrt app that references the Guarana library on S60 3rd FP1 devices.

I am aware of the incompatibility of certain Guarana components on S60 3rd FP1 devices but I am not making use of any of them. Guarana is stated to support wrt 1.0 and S60 3rd FP1 devices with restrictions (certain controls not supported).

The application starts to load and then exits - it runs fine on the emulator it also runs fine on S60 5th (N97). I am specifically testing on an N95 firmware 35 (checked with Nokia - it is the latest) and E90. I have tested a wrt app without including Guarana and this also runs fine on the N95.

Is there anything I should do to be able to make use of Guarana on S60 3rd FP1 devices?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

N95 and E90 are already rather old devices and it has been a while before their browsers have been updated.
Crashing on startup, points to possible memory issue. I'm afraid that there is not much to be done in that case.
