N9 Swype-keyboard NEW UI template [HELP]

Ok i did a new template for Nokia N9 swype keyboard and it worked just fine, i did for PR1.1... so you released PR1.2 and then my headaches appeared

i see you are working now with "patches" GREAT IDEA, but i cant understand what it really does

so

can anyone help me to understand what this code does and if it depends on others

could you please elaborate more? textbutton_patch.dat is not a code but a file, I guess.

i understand and let me show you the graphic way, im bad explaining myself

this is my UI in PR1.1

for this mod i replace the whole keyboard image, quiet hard but i got it, then in PR1.2 you use only ONE image for the whole alpha-numeric keys (textbutton.png & textbutton_patch.dat) for LS/PT whatever, ONE for shift-key (funcbutton_patch.ong & funcbutton_patch.dat) the same for LS/PT whatever, and so on with oter keys, then i got this problem

for this try i used an image of 60x60

so, sniffing i realize XXXX_patch.dat are ment to edit resX ,resY, ..., ..., ..., ... but im not sure and if also depends on other files if so which files, thanks

Hi,
Swype keyboard isn't a Nokia product so Nokia doesn't really support it.
Anyway I noticed that key's background image is slightly bigger and has less margin on PR 1.2 than in PR 1.1.
I think you messed up something.

I don't know what are the numbers in the dat file.

so this NEW swype version was not developed by you (nokia)??? i thought Nokia developed his own version??? ok one more question, what do i need to do to use the swype version from PR1.1 thanks in advance

I don't really think maliit people can help him. eltoffer's goal is to customize the UI of a closed source IM plugin which hasn't been developed by Nokia nor from Harmattan's community. He should contact directly swype or the package maintainer of swype.
To use the PR 1.1 version of swype on PR 1.2, you have to copy all swype's files in your device overwriting the new ones.
As far as I know swype package is not downloadable.

i already did it but the result is NO swype keyboard, i replace the whole DATA folder in /usr/share/swype/ any other advise?

Did you check for dpkg -L <swype_pkgname> and copied all the files needed?

i need some files but unfortunately i dont have access to PR1.1 anymore (i got two N9, one with PR1.1 andother with pr1.2 but NOW BOTH are on pr1.2), can anyone help me, i need this four files

@kusumk thanks for your help and for sharing, i replace all the files but after reboot i got no swype keyboard at all, not even appears in "language&date" menu i think its about regs files or something like that, ill keep trying, any idea is very welcome
