SFTP Uploading error with N950

Hi!

I have a problem with N950 and QtSDK 1.2 integration. I have installed QtSDK 1.2 and now i cannot upload an any app on to my N950 device. There is an error:


Deployment failed.
Error while building project N950Test (target: Harmattan)
When executing build step 'Deploy Debian package via SFTP upload'


Up to this moment I used Qt SDK 1.1.3 and I have been deploying apps without problems.

Anyone have experience in resolving this problem?

Hi,

Have you set the Device settings in the QTCreator->tools->options->Linux devices

Are you using USB connection and are the ssh keys deployed in device properly?

I have successfully connecting to device! Icons and metadata of app have been installed successfully on to device, but app bin file have not been installed.

Hi,
When you change something in your app and you press the "play" button to run the app on the device,
the Qt SDK builds and upload the package to the device.

This package contains the application binary, icons and other data.
So this means that in case the package is installed sucessfully, the app should be on the device too.
This let me think data you see on the device were already there.

Do you see other messages in the SDK console?
can you ping 192.168.2.16?

No, I can ping 192.168.2.15 without problems!
Device is accessible, but SFTP upload don't work correctly in Qt SDK 1.2!

Wrong settings? Did you try to use password instead of key, just to check if the problem is in the authentication step?

No! Settings is valid! Yes, I tried to use password and device has been tested! Following is device testing log with russian comments. Qt Creator is russian localized. Qt SDK is installed on Windows 7 OS.

Ok. Have you tried removing the pro.user file in the project directory and try loading the app again in QT creator and then build and run in device.

What is your package size?
There is a thread where developers faced the same problem when the package size is large -

Also, please make sure that package manager is not open when you install your application, since dpkg tool is used for installation,
the status database area is locked by another process (this could be package manager) that uses dpkg
