Basically you can not sign packets which are using UIDs that are not reserved for your account, anyway, you never should sign packets made by others. So if you use sis files made by others you must get them signed by the original developer, and use the sis file then as-it-is.

and sign each sis file you make yourself, with your own account.

what your saying is i have to contact the original developer of ZXingBarCodeReader to get it signed?

If you need to use the sis file, and it is not signed, then you should contact the original developer for assistance on signing, since you can not handle it in your own account. So, Yes that what I'm suggesting.

I posted about this query in ZXing google groups and got reply like this

ZXing library by its own has Apache License 2.0 which means that you can
freely use it anyhow you want even for commercial use without any further
contact with the developers or whomever. Likewise ZXingBarcodeReader is
applicable to the same licensing so likewise you are free to use it for
symbian signing and distribution.

From the name *.sisx, it looks that the sis file is already a signed one. if so, then yes, it can be embedded.

As already indicated by Jukka, you cannot use the developer signed file for embedding.

with the search option i searched in the code for this 0xEF24C10A UID and replaced with this 0x20060D8F which is gerated from my account
and generated .sisx

In your case you can get your sis fime symbian signed and use it to embedd it. (I do not know this application, but if capabilities allow, selfsigning is always an option you can use.)

if you have sources, then of course you can change the UID and use your own signing fir it. Then also, do remember to change all filenames in the package, this is basically yo ensure that if anybody else is also using this packet and its installed into the device you are attempting to install your app, it would work.

Basically any UID or filename mismatch produces "Unable to Install" error, which is often not too easy to figure out, so better would be to avoid it
