Hi Iznin can u please forward e the working example for Symbian^3.
Hi GTO_India
I used Inneractive SDK examples to check the build problem. I don't have my own example application
I tried Inneractive Symbian SDK 1.7.0
Right now i cannot log-in to Inneractive it returns 500 server error --- i will check it later
Hi Iznin I have followed the same SDK . In what cases it says " Unable to intsall "or " Unable to install a protected application from a supplier that is not trusted"

If you google with " Unable to install a protected application from a supplier that is not trusted", the first hit is your own thread with that title.
Generally the checklist for installation errors (Which has been provided to you already) is http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...roubleshooting

But I have used a unprotected UID " 0xeaxxxxxx" and selfsigning my application
According to http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...roubleshooting
shall I use < 0x8xxxxxxx in my application now
The url you have posted is copy-pasted without actually opening it!! Please check the checklist and you will find your answers immediately. You also seem to have issues regarding capabilities http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ation-UID-only Why you had the capability in the first place and why you remove it without any other changes is far from my understanding. Also check the SDK documentation on what UIDs you can use with what certificate and capabilities, etc.
You are not encouraging people to help you if you ask same queries in different threads without actually putting efforts on the suggestions.

No I have gobne through the lines
"Cannot install a protected application from untrusted supplier"
Self-signed installation package uses package UID from protected range ( < 0x80000000 ).
Self-signed installation package has EXE that uses SID from protected range ( < 0x80000000 ).
Self-signed installation package has EXE/DLL that has non-zero VID (VendorID).
anybody found the solution to this problem ?? please it is urgent .
Hi
I have checked build inneractiveAdSDK-Symbian-v1.7.0\inneractiveAdSample for Symbian-5th GCCE target with Carbide 3.2 on Window 7. My build was successful. I have not updated Carbide as it asked the update was available.
Please make sure you use the latest available version AdSDK and your development environment is not broken.
thanks for your reply, i tried it on Windows 7, Carbide 3.2 and got the same problem.
what are the environment specifications you have on your machine ?
Hi
the environment specification is quite broad term. I do not know what to list there. Generally i run Windows 7 and Carbide 3.2. For you it is important to know the SDK is not broken. So try to clean first and then re-create your development environment.
