[moved] S40 application works on stimulator but falis on nokia 300 asha

Hi all,
Im doing this application using HTML and javascript for s40.. it works totally fine on simulator i.e nokia tool 1.5 simulator which i downloaded but when i deploy the same on nokia 300 phones the whole UI is misplaced.. Can any plz help with this.. thanks in advance

What do you mean with "misplaced", exactly? Can you post a screenshot/photo of how it looks on the emulator and how the same looks on the phone?

Please see Appendix B in http://tools.nokia.com/wt/doc/jsdt/s..._Reference.pdf
It contains list of supported CSS attributes.

Basic.css has for example position:absolute and floats that are not supported in series 40 web apps.

Hi,
Simulator, especially local preview, is not a exact match to real device.
Local preview mode offers full-fledged WebKit based browser, meant for debugging web apps, when needed.
Most of the development should be done using Cloud preview and a real Series 40 device.
