App icon cannot be displayed on N900 after repackaging the project in QtSDK 1.2

Dear All,

In QtSDK 1.2, I opened my Qt project file created in Qt SDK 1.1, the Qt project can run on N900, but the icon can not be displayed, instead, a pure green icon was displayed.

I checked project setting, besides the "Icon to be displayed in Package Manager", the chosen icon was displayed properly. However, it was not displayed on N900 physical device. By the way, the icon is 64*64 pixels png file.

Any advice?

Hi,

I do not have n900 to test with, the icon size you mentioned seems ok, there are some steps at the bottom of this page explaining how to add icon, may be they can help you.

Thank you so much. I've checked the site you recommended, but no clue for the undisplayed icon on Phone after repackaging it in Qt SDK 1.2

I'm using QML. The project worked fine on N900 when it was developed in Qt SDK 1.1. But multiple instances would be created each time the app icon is clicked on phone. I was suggested to repacking it in new Qt SDK 1.2, it works and without multi-instances any more, but the icon can not be displayed on phone although the right 64*64 png file is chosen as app icon in the project "Run Settings".
