Missing lib: AknLayout2Scalable.lib/dso

Hi. I'm using Qt 4.7.4 with a couple of Symbian C++ calls and I'm getting linker errors:

undefined reference to `TAknWindowComponentLayout::LayoutLine() const

But when I add AKNLAYOUT2SCALABLE.LIB library, my environment can't find it.

I already downloaded lots of SDKs (3rd thru Belle) but can't find this library.

Any help is appreciated.

It does not seem to be a published API, it is only forward-declared in the Symbian C++ SDK-s, though I have not checked the latest Qt SDK. You can always try digging it out from the ex-open source code (project symbiandump on SourceForge), but it may be safer to live without it, especially in Qt environment.

This library is used in Qt for Symbian 4.7.4 (latest) - The code I'm trying to compile was found in the repo.
I was affraid that someone would point me to the symbiandump... I have it downloaded and already took a look at it.
Eventually I'll try to compile that monster.

Since it is a const method of a T-class, probably you have good chances to get it in a painless way. It is an other question what kind of classes and API-s it uses internally.
Since you know the related .h file, it can help a lot in locating the actual code. It is probably somewhere in the sf-mw-classicui package (avkon stuff is located as sf\mw\classicui\uifw\AvKon in the extracted source).
