Using Urdu in HtmlString

hi

i am using Urdu language in html string but it does,nt give me rite string when i parse the html string using html Component but it is giving me ????????????????????????????????????????????????

but if i use simple string it works fine .

need a quick help

Hi rana.anees,

You need to explicitly specify the encoding to UTF8.

This code is rendered as ????

        form = new Form("LWUIT");
        
        HTMLComponent htmlC = new HTMLComponent(null);
        
        htmlC.setBodyText("Hello <b>اردو</b>");
        
        form.addComponent(htmlC);

But this code is rendered as اردو

        form = new Form("LWUIT");
        
        HTMLComponent htmlC = new HTMLComponent(null);
        
        htmlC.setBodyText("Hello <b>اردو</b>", "UTF8");
        
        form.addComponent(htmlC);
