    hi all,

    Is there an API to monitor keyboard status - if there is any - and whether it is open or not?

    No, I'm talking about the physical keyboard not the virtual.

    I found that it needs an internal API that is not available in public SDK, too bad

    Using the Keylock API may suit part of your use cases as well.
