Need some help from developers

Hello,
i am trying to develop a app using QT. I want to develop this app for a touch screen mobile. I have used a line edit and also i have given a keypad of my own through push buttons to use the app. Now whenever the user will click on the line edit, he'll get the keypad of mobile. How can I avoid the popping out of the inbuilt keypad ?

what would be the point on using the line edit, if it is supposed to be non-editable text label.
