    Target is "C:\Nokia\Symbian\Tools\Carbide.c++ v3.2\Carbide.c++.3.2.exe".

    Carbide.c++ is customized for Symbian/C++ development. If you want to experiment with Series 40 and Java, you should rather get an untweaked Eclipse bundle from http://www.eclipse.org
    The question is moved to the Mobile Java boards now.

    How about "Eclipse IDE for Java Developers, 128 MB"?
    Release notes says
    Eclipse Indigo with Mobile Tools for Java (MTJ)
    so do not forget getting MTJ afterwards: Help, Install New Software..., select or add "Indigo - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo", and you will find it under "Mobile and Device Development".

    There is also Eclipse Pulsar that offers a bundle version of Eclipse with MTJ, so no need to download two separate pieces of software.
