That is an interesting question. These phones appear capable of running web apps. But maybe there was some technical reason not to enable this feature? Maybe the smaller screen size, slower processor, or limited memory. It would be interesting to see one of these very low-end devices run a web app to see how well it handles it.

However, it does not appear to support web apps. If I had access to some hardware I would give it a try to make sure.

There may be problems with publishing web apps if the web app support were to be added later. So I doubt support would be added in these models if it is not there already.
