IAP / -1044: UserAndDeviceInfoFailed / PureView 808 / Belle FP 1

Hi,

I'm having the problem that a call to IAPClient::getUserAndDeviceId() always returns the status string "-1044: UserAndDeviceInfoFailed" and no data.

This happens on the Nokia PureView 808 with Symbian Belle FP 1 but does not happen on a Nokia C7 with Symbian Belle. Both phones have the latest updates applied.

I'm using the IAP framework in version 3.23.7. Also this no temporary problem, it happens since I got the device a couple of weeks ago.

Ok, this error seems to be my fault. After inserting a SIM card I no longer get this error. Unfortunately now the callback for IAPClient::getUserAndDeviceId() is just never called...
Oh why can't that IAP stuff just work

Thanks for the link, however it turned out that the problem yesterday was a problem with Nokias IAP servers. This morning everything worked fine again :/

Hi derconny

Please be aware version 3.23.10 replaced version 3.23.7 a month ago -- if you like , please update Qt SDK with Update manager. Now IAP SDK is not side loaded anymore.

I will update my package. Where are updates to IAP announced? Before making a release I'm always consulting the smartinstaller wiki page to see which versions should be included. Unfortunately it still lists 3.23.7. http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...er_for_Symbian
