Search Query Specification

Hi,

when I use Places API to search and provide "q" parameter value as :


"a" there are no results, but when it is "b" there are valid results. Are these known bugs ?

As an aside there are valid (and the same) results for any of these these characters ( ' " ''' : ? ).

Hi Venkat,

Thanks for your query. Your description of the current behaviour is correct - for some reason our discover/search endpoint returns zero results for the query "a".

I'm not sure that this is a problem for our users though. Why were you testing this particular case? Are there realistic queries that are not returning results where they would be useful?
