LWUIT supported on Nokia 700?

Hello All,

I have downloaded

Nokia Eclipse SDK here:

http://www.developer.nokia.com/Develop/Java/

and Nokia LWUIT here:

http://projects.developer.nokia.com/LWUIT_for_Series_40


I built an LWUIT based app that was running fine using the Asha 311 simulator that came with Nokia Eclipse SDK.

I installed the app on a Nokia 700. (http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_700-4021.php)

Is the LWUIT app I built supported to run on Nokia 700? Thanks in advance.

Nokia 700 is based on Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 device and the LWUIT you have download is for Nokia series 40 devices.

To run LWUIT on Nokia 700, need to download original LWUIT binary from oracle site .

LWUIT binary you get from Oracle might not have platform look and feel and themes, but it should work with Nokia 700.

LWUIT is supported by all the phone of MIDP 2.0 and later. So there should not be any issues with the app you developed.
