Signed file issue

Hi All,

I am getting an error "could not download", while downloading the verisign signed file on Nokia 6500 device via OTA. But when I am trying to install the unsigned file then it will install.
I am not able to know what would be the root cause for this issue?

plz assist.

Hi j2mehell and welcome to Nokia developer discussion board,

can you to install signed midlet from device instead of OTA so that you will get more info about the error. and also see the video why doesn't my signed midlet work.

I remember an issue I have reported with missing verisign Certificates in Series 40 5th Ed, FP 1 devcies long time back and it has been fixed in the latest firmware updates. Your issue sounds similar, pls update your firmware and give a try installing the Verisign Signed MIDLet. Also pls note Thwate Certificates worked fine in those devcies.
